Press release from the City of Mentor: October 22nd, 2021 On Friday, October 22, 2021, between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, Lakeland Community College Police and their contractors will conduct multiple demonstrations of a high wattage, rooftop emergency speaker system. The test may be heard in and around the area of Lakeland's campus.  The test message will state "this is a test" before and after the tone and audio message.
