Looking to fill assistant role for small gardening practice. This role’s primary responsibility is to provide assistance to the Garden Manager in their role of tending the garden. These responsibilities are wide-ranging, but include: (1) general garden work such as weeding, watering, planting, harvesting, pruning, deadheading, fertilizing etc.. (2) leading to garden while the Garden Manager is engaged with other projects, clients etc... (3) working independently on tasks given by the Garden Manager. Because work in a garden is never really done, the Garden Assistant’s helps to ensure the steady workflow of all gardens. The successful candidate must have their own vehicle, will be a self-starter who has the drive and initiative to work through tasks on their own, along with enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn. He/she will have good communication skills and be able to take instruction and direction. Flexible hours and competitve wages based on experience
