Woman Found Shot On Tucson Street

TUCSON, AZ — Linda Marie Mendibles, 70, was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound Wednesday morning on a Tucson sidewalk, according to police. Police found Mendibles around 9:30 a.m. near West 18th Street and South Frontage Road west of Interstate 10 after someone asked police to check on her. She was pronounced dead at the scene. No suspects are in custody, police said. Police ask that any potential witnesses or anyone who knows anything about Medibles' death call 911 or 88-CRIME to share with investigators.
