Drummer & Acoustic Guitarist Needed

In need of a rock solid drummer and hand percussionist (full kit, shaker, djembe, cajon) for a modern acoustic rock and worship project, along with a 2nd guitarist (acoustic and/or electric). Vocals are a plus but not required. I have TONS of stage experience, playing all over the West Coast in various venues from Seattle to Los Angeles. I've got some great live sound and lighting gear. Now, I'm looking to start something different here in Prescott and need the players to make it happen. Here's what I'm looking for: Drummer / Percussionist - Need someone solid that can play the pocket and doesn't feel like they need to be doing drum fills and solos in the middle of every song. Definitely add the creative touch as we grow, play, and write together. Guitarist - Prefer a great rhythm acoustic player that understands dynamics, not just plowing through a song. Emotion and complimenting one another will be huge with this band. Here's what I'm NOT looking for: Musicians that treat others poorly and think they're better than everyone else. I've already seen a number of big egos here, and that's more of a turn-off than people realize. Huge attitudes and egos need not apply... seriously. It's great to be an amazing musician, but understand (in my humble opinion) that how we get along and make one another better is more important than you being the greatest in the world. The audience and listener know when a band is grooving together, and they also know when it's not happening. Also... absolutely NO drugs or other substance abuse and/or addictions. If you're in a program, that's great. Similar artists would include Goo Goo Dolls, Phil Wickham, Howie Day, Matchbox 20, Jeremy Camp, Verve Pipe, Def Leppard, etc. You should have faith in God and be comfortable playing a range of music from acoustic rock, hard rock to Christian worship. Events will be booked at various venues ranging from coffeehouses, churches, clubs, and the courtyard. Male and female musicians are welcome, with an age preference of 30 to 60 (if you're outside of those ages, we can chat about it). I'm looking for a potential commitment of 2 to 4 rehearsal evenings or weekends a month and typically 2 weekend events per month (once we start booking, but that's flexible). Drummers - I utilize a new Alesis Crimson kit that runs through EZDrummer software in my studio.
