In search of a melodic punk bassist. Or if this exists, a fitting guitarist that can and wants to use their chops to rip on bass. Loud, tight, emotional, nostalgic shit that you'd scream along to in a sweaty basement. Currently a guitarist/vocalist and drummer, 10+ yrs band experience each, with influences that span the melodic punk gamut with a hint of midwest emo: Banner Pilot, Knuckle Puck, The Menzingers, Hot Water Music, Red City Radio, The Flatliners, Iron Chic, Off With Their Heads, The Wonder Years. Tangential influences that might sneak in: Nofx, The Bronx, Sorority Noise, Strike Anywhere. We have jobs but this is a huge creative outlet, so, hoping to find someone with the same drive and passion. Regular practices, eventually playing out. I've got a few songs developing that I can send as samples, if you're interested please send a little sample of your playing, whether with a band or alone (doesn't have to be a professional level recording or anything). We skew west, but if you're a good fit then we'll make it work.
