Drummer Looking For Guitarists and Bassist.

I am a drummer currently in the process of seeking a lead guitarist, a rhythm guitarist and a bassist. My intention is to start a band from the ground up, so to speak. My name is Rick. I’m 50 and I live in New Kensington. I had a band about 25 years ago. We played for about 10 years. We only did a handful of opening gigs for some bands that liked us, but the audiences seemed to like what we did. The reason we broke up was due to people getting married, having kids, you know, the usual. The bands that I like are The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Black Crowes, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Fleetwood Mac, Cake, Steely Dan, INXS, U2, and many others. I would ultimately like to write originals, and get some very good covers going as well. The covers I would like to focus on are deep cuts from some of the bands that I’ve mentioned. I would like to find some like minded individuals with some of the same influences as mine. I would like to be able to play out at least once a month if possible. I am in NO WAY interested in playing any heavy metal, or any super hard rock like AC/DC. While I do like bands in those genres, I am not interested in playing that type of music live. I would prefer people that live decently close to me, up to 10 miles from New Kensington. Must be vaccinated, no exceptions!
