Don't understand why??

I'm confused Mr. Trump, we did what you asked and now the freedom fighters are being jailed as political prisoners. I don't understand why you didn't pardon them when you had the chance. They are facing long prison terms, their lives are in shambles. I was a full two weeks from when we did your bidding until the current senile one was sworn into office... surely that was enough time to give all of us a pardon? If anyone can shed some light on this subject please respond with an answer, it's driving me crazy!
