First let’s start with my age: 50. If you’re gonna judge me because of my age, move on. Fronted my own band in NYC, which is where I was originally from. Relocated to Wawayanda 4 years ago. Still play an occasional show in the City, though mostly solo stuff and not with a band. And, yeah, I miss that power of that driving backbeat. Just looking for someone close to home that I have chemistry with to do a couple covers and a couple originals - between 4 and 6 tunes for a one-off type of thing at a future area open mic night, just to flex the ol’ Rock ‘n Roll muscles one more time. I don’t want to bring any other musicians into it as I don’t want it complicated. If it “clicks”, cool. If not, at least we tried. It would obviously be a White Stripes type of setup. Guitar with vocals and drums (no, you don’t have to sing - unless you really want to). Let’s just have some fun with it. We can rehearse at my home or if you have a space available, we can do your place. Don’t feel like renting a rehearsal space. I figured one or two get-togethers and then let’s play out. I grew up listening to my sisters’ and older cousins’ Beatles and Stones records, then got off on DK, Pistols, Ramones, Nirvana and Green Day. If it’s got three chords, cool! Email me if interested.
