How hard is it guys?? I play drums. I provide the space. I say when to show up to practice. I say when to show up to gigs. Period. All you have to do is show up and do as I say. I've been at this the better part of 4 years now. I've booked almost more gigs than I can count on half of one hand. I have upwards of two bar owners who I've spoken with on more than one occasion about booking...and I know a guy who runs a festival in my town. I just don't know how I can make it any clearer to all the incredibly talented musicians out there that playing with me is a golden opportunity and I will accept nothing less than the best...hell I'll take 2nd tier if you are punctual, can follow directions, and not make me look like a complete ass. That includes when I treat you like garbage for whatever I deem to be garbage behavior. And don't you dare try to hold me accountable because I will snap. I don't care how much time you put in or how loyal you may have been, I deserve respect. Not you. Me. So reach out if you want to have a beer and play Another Brick in the Wall! I love that song and how it skewers authoritarian douchebags! Let's be rebels together, man. That's what rock and roll is about! Let's have some beer and jam!...on time.
