My Place Services is a home remodeling and improvement company that is currently looking for a general laborer to start immediately. We are currently looking for someone with knowledge in roofing, sheetrock, painting, framing, windows, siding, etc. We are also looking for electricians that can assist with our basic construction needs. THIS POSITION REQUIRES A RELIABLE VEHICLE. RESPONSIBILITIES - Help keep job sites clean and organized - Load and unload materials and equipment, as needed - Provide labor and assistance with all aspects of our construction needs - Operate all equipment in a safe and appropriate manner - Have a willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers and supervisors with other duties as required - Must be capable of working independently without constant supervision - Must be able to perform the work required in a timely manner and maintain adequate production - Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills REQUIREMENTS - Must have reliable transportation and basic tools (hammer, drill, measuring tape and electric saw) - Some knowledge and experience in construction and carpentry - Ability to follow instructions and take initiative - Stand for long periods of time and lift heavy loads up to 75 lbs.
