Event Lead needed for Nation's Leading Supper Club

We're Tasting Collective (tastingcollective.com), the nation's leading members-only dining club on a mission to transform the traditional restaurant experience into one that is all about fostering human connection. We've been hibernating for the past year and a half (thanks COVID!), but we're finally back (!!!) and we're in the process of relaunching in all of the 12 cities that we were operating in pre-pandemic. One of those cities is Seattle, hence this posting. We're looking for a rockstar Event Lead to help host our chef-led dining events at Seattle's very best restaurants. As Event Lead, you will be the face of the Tasting Collective brand at our events. You will interface with acclaimed chefs, restaurant staff, and our members to make sure our events run seamlessly and are successful. Your responsibilities will include setting up our event equipment at restaurants (PA System, menus, etc.), configuring seating charts, welcoming attendees upon their arrival (and checking for their proof of COVID vaccination), emceeing during our events, and breaking down equipment post-event. The ideal candidate will be incredibly dependable, hyper-organized, detail-oriented, outgoing, personable, self-confident, and comfortable delegating tasks/managing people. The ability to work independently, in a high-energy/fast-paced environment (restaurants!) is essential. Past work experience in event coordination, theater/performance behind-the-scenes production, and/or TV/Film production is a big plus, but not essential. Past experience working in restaurants doesn't hurt either but is by no means a requirement. Oh, and ideally you're passionate about food/restaurants and creating incredibly fun events!
