I use the environment as our third teacher, but the teacher is also a learner, a researcher, and a co-collaborator. Because children need multiple means of representation across multiple areas, our jobs don’t start when the door opens and end when a child leaves. It is a constant cycle of observation, planning, implementation, and reflection.
