Groundskeeper Myron Stratton Home – Colorado Springs, CO 80906 This fulltime position is responsible for the yearly upkeep of all grounds at The Myron Stratton Home. Job responsibilities will include: Taking care of plants, trees, lawns, irrigation systems, and snow removal for driveways, parking lots, and sidewalks during winter months. Maintaining lawns by mowing, cleaning debris, raking leaves, and performing other lawn maintenance functions. Maintaining flower beds, baskets, and boxes by watering, removing weeds, tree trimming, and performing other property maintenance. Using moderate to light equipment to complete duties as assigned, i.e. riding mower, leaf blower, weed eater, chainsaw, etc. Wash, clean, service, and re-fuel all equipment after use. Operate and service tractors, trucks, and other utility vehicles to transport equipment, supplies and gather resident’s trash. Flexibility to work overtime as required due to emergencies, weather related and/or special events. Respect for personal safety and the safety of others. Be a self-starter, and able to follow written and oral instructions. Pass a Criminal Background check and pre-employment drug screening. Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. *Mandatory - Must be fully- vaccinated.
