Description

Did you buy a bass during quarantine? If you already had one, did you play it? If you did, do you feel like you've hit a wall, even with more time added to your practice routine? My name is Ronnie Brannan, and I've been playing bass for 20+ years. Whether it's your first time picking up a bass or you're a more experienced instrumentalist, I'd like to help you become a better player. No matter if you're into rock, pop, blues, funk, or country, we can create a plan that will specifically help you reach your goals. Fine tune your technique, fill in gaps in your musical knowledge, get tips for playing in a band, or learn songs for your own enjoyment. My years of experience can serve as a guide on your journey. We can talk gear too! Your ears and hands are the most important part of your sound. But a deeper examination of your rig can be quite helpful in getting the tones you are after. I'm happy to explain what all those knobs on your bass and amp do, so you can really dial in your current setup. About me: I have a Bachelor's degree in music from Florida Southern College, where I studied with Michael Hill of the Orlando Philharmonic. I have taught private bass lessons for the past 15 years. My experience ranges from playing with Blue Man Group at Universal, British Revolution at Epcot, and the house band at Senor Frogs on International Drive, to many other pro and indie gigs throughout Central Florida and beyond. If you have questions, hit the reply button and get in touch. We can discuss at length exactly how you want to structure our first lessons so that we hit the ground running. It's important to me that my students feel that they are steadily improving, and therefore getting their money's worth. If you're ready to level up your bass playing, let's talk!
