Bio hazard and trash removal company in Portland, Oregon is looking for Cleaning Technicians. Positions are available for drivers and nondrivers. Drivers are responsible for driving box trucks with their team members safely from work site to work site and to dump trash along with preforming the various duties of a Cleaning Technician. Drivers will need to have a valid driver license and a clean driving record up to 3 years. Cleaning Technicians and drivers clean up various trash and bio hazards around the city of Portland and surrounding areas. Job sites include illegal dumping areas, hoarding houses, and vehicular accidents or burns with debris such as glass and metal. Trash includes but is not limited to: rotten food waste and biohazards such as needles from medical and drug use, blood, feces, and urine. Employees will likely have daily interaction with various community members, police, business owners, and other city workers. All employees must be able to follow instructions and safety protocols at all times. Most work is preformed outside. This is an entry level position and is physically demanding. This includes being on your feet for a majority of the day and being able to lift/load objects up to 50lbs. The company provides the on the job training for safety and efficiency. Being on time is important. Employees must be able to arrive on time daily and be fully committed to work during work hours.
