Conifer Realty has an immediate need for a Cleaner/Porter at our apartment communities, Golden Age Living Accommodation (50 units) & Tajdeed Residences (45 units) in Philadelphia, PA. Are you one who likes everything to look neat & clean? Successful candidates will be responsible for the neat presentation, cleanliness of all the buildings including grounds and fixtures. Your job responsibilities will include ensuring that all bathrooms are sparkling and odor free; all floors are swept, vacuumed and mopped daily; removal of trash on the property grounds and inside the complex. You will also ensure the outside walkways remain clear and free of debris, including trash, snow and ice removal when needed. You will also assist with cleaning when apartments turnover and will be expected to notify the Community Manager of safety hazards and building repairs. Ability to multi-task with excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with residents. Occasional weekend work may be requested when needed. Minimum High School diploma/GED equivalent. Knowledge of hazardous material regulations, proper storage procedures for OSHA safety compliance. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL FUNCTIONING REQUIREMENTS: Ability to function both inside and outside in all types of weather. Medium to heavy work requiring prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting to a maximum of 50-75 lbs. with frequent lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. Good physical dexterity with ability to perform activities that include repetitive motion of arms, legs and back on a daily basis. Able to adhere to Conifer’s Appearance Guidelines policy. Good eye/hand coordination essential. Color perception, the ability to differentiate between colors in terms of hue, and the ability to identify a particular color or color combination from memory.
