The Junior Quality Inspector will report directly to the Chief Quality Inspector and will be responsible for the following: ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform inspection requirements of parts as needed for product compliance using standard inspection tools • Perform receiving inspection of new and processed products. • Read and interpret specifications for inspection requirements of raw material, hardware and processed parts. • Familiar with measuring devices and calipers • Preferred Background & Education • Be able to follow instruction and read information tables • High school education or equivalent • 1-5 years’ experience in inspection methods and use of inspection tools SKILLS • Ability to multi-task • Able to work effectively in a team environment or independently • Willing to work overtime and weekends if and when required PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Occasionally may need to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds REQUIREMENTS 1. Submit to drug & alcohol screen and be subject to random screenings throughout employment. 2. Submit to a background check. 3. Must be able to pass any required eye examinations. 4. Must be able to read and understand written planning and follow verbal instructions.
