Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Immediate Hire in Gibsonton, FL Temp to Perm PAY: $20.00-$23.00 (based upon experience) HOURS: 8 Hour Shifts starting at 6 A.M. SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday START DATE: ASAP DURATION: Temp to Perm Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a Fabrication Shop setting. Qualifications for: Maintenance Technician Job requires being able to work in an open-air environment during many types of weather conditions This is a physically intensive job that many hours of standing along with stooping, bending, lifting and reaching Work with Maintenance Manager to coordinate repair of equipment based on production’s needs and safety Must be able to be certified and operate various types of equipment (IE: Forklifts, Aerial Lifts, etc.) Ensure that all equipment is repaired to original safety standard. Use established procedure of equipment repair requests/Tag Procedure Perform preventive maintenance and minor to medium repairs on shop and yard equipment. Must have a good knowledge and understanding of electrical, hydraulics, welding and burning equipment, plumbing, compressors, overhead cranes, mobile cranes, Diesel repair, forklifts, and trucks and trailers Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE Must be able to perform job duties that require [PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted] Must have PPE including [PPE: steel toe work boots, face mask] Additional Requirements for: Maintenance Technician Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to the job site Applicants may be subject to pre-employment drug screen · Applicants may be subject to criminal background check (A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
