This is Captain Bluebird, my GORGEOUS 2 1/2 year old male English that unfortunately got his band stuck in his cage while I was out, and ended up having to have his foot amputated because of it. So now he’s got a peg leg that he uses quite efficiently!! He climbs the cage side using it, he uses it as a resting post, he’s pretty good on it! He’s in the same flight cage as his breeding buddies. I got him as a breeder out of state from a person that breeds for show. So he’s been kept as/with the breeders, but once he lost his leg, I separated him and started handling him a lot. Then once the fires happened last year, I put him back with the breeders for evacuation, and have just left him there since. I LOVE this guy! I’ve contemplated finding him a home this whole year, but just couldn’t get myself to do it! But now I’ve decided that it’s unfair for me to just keep him with my breeding birds. He has so much character, SO much life to him, that I really want him to have someone that will interact, tame, train, and love him! More than my lifestyle allows me to do for him. I am in no rush. I want to find him a GREAT home! I am asking a rehoming fee of $60 for him. Call or text is best!
