Hi folks. We're a 4 piece stoner/space/desert rock/metal/fusion jam group based mostly in Central and Northern Phx. We have a few gigs coming up, one next month being the closest. We're looking for a solid lead guitarist who can create soaring tones, crushing rythm bits and harmonize with the other guitarist when necessary. Vocal ability is appreciated and would help but not necessary overall. Bonus points if you play any other instruments. The weirder the better. We're looking to start serious work on our first album, so you would be a part in the founding of our group's discography timeline. we've put a lot of work into shaping our sound and hammering out all the fine details. We don't ask much, although we do need you to: 1) be a team player. no assholes. 2) show up and be ready to jam. At least one practise a wk. 3) be comfortable with artistic creativity but also to take constructuve feedback positively. 4) not be a ninny. If something bothers you or something isn't quite working right, speak up. 5) not be a raging alcoholic or druggie. Look, we all love to drink, and smoke and have fun. But don't be a vindictive asshole. See #1 6) Decent gear. have a cab, have the ability to gig out. We do have some gear available if you're starting back up (we've all been there and won't judge) but have a decent guitar, and or amp, and above all a great attitude. Please don't ask for recorded tracks. We have some rough cuts from maybe a year ago, but lets face it.... anyone can create a decent studio cut and make it sound alright. You don't get to feel a vibe from a recording as much as showing up, meeting the people, talking, playing and connecting. Besides I already explained that we're preparing to work on our first album.
