2 - 8 week old socialized alligators are available for adoption to an approved home. They both enjoy their chins, heads and necks rubbed. They will let you pick them up and hand feed them meals with tongs. Both enjoy their teeth being brushed twice a week.
Alligators are clicker trained during mealtimes. We have worked extensively on socialization, and desensitization by using a toothbrush & keeping them in a common area in our facility where they are exposed to human interaction all day long.
Diet is crocodilian pellets, mealworms, superworms, and chicken breast.
Applicant MUST pass educational requirement & have proof of correct set up. These alligators will be 4 feet within 5 years, and 8 ft within 10 years. Males can grow on average to 13 feet - head to tail. They require a large space & will require a lot of high maintenance care as they grow.
Babies are captive bred, and are doing well in a 3 ft indoor pond currently with lots of plants & a float.
