Texas Heelers in need of rehoming. Ready around Halloween. The Texas Heeler is a mixed breed dog–a cross between the Australian Cattle Dog and Australian Shepherd dog breeds. Intelligent, hard-working, and energetic, these herding pups inherited some of the best qualities from both of their parents. Their mama, Prissy, is full blooded Blue Heeler, and their dad, Sully, is full blooded Red Tri Australian shepherd. Both parents are on premises. Both mom and dad are extremely intelligent, very quick to learn with an immense desire to please. Both have mild playful temperaments and are fantastic around kids, adults, and other pets. Texas heelers will do well in extremely active homes that are interested in working with a very smart dog, these active pups will thrive with routine, enrichment, and lots of training. They have been raised and handled from birth as family pets. Whelped September 10th. Will be up to date on shots and wormed bi weekly starting at 2 weeks old.
