Job Responsibilities: Must have knowledge of installation and repairs of Fire-rated, apartment aluminum, tempered glass doors. KNOWLEDGE IN ELLISON BALANCED DOORS A PLUS Must be able to estimate and source parts and materials. Responsible for multiple tasks involving the takedown of used commercial doors and/or equipment, installation of new commercial doors, operators, equipment, and multiple service categories on doors, operators, and associated equipment. Determine if added work needs to be performed and the measures needed to assure approved installation of the product. Alterations, construction modifications, and obstructions must be noted before each job is to begin. Perform commercial service/installation on a wide range of products, including hinges, operators, door sections, rolling steel, torsion springs, dock equipment, locks, etc. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: The required equivalent experience. Minimum of Two (02) years of Door Mechanic/Locksmith experience in either a commercial or Residential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Bilingual is a plus Salary commensurate with experience
