Description

Perform various warehouse activities to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products. You will receive, store, sort, process, package, ship customer orders via UPS and truck as well as load and unload products. You will operate warehouse equipment to build and send appropriate orders by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Process, package, check, verify and ship orders accurately according to quantity, size etc. • Diligent and punctual with great attention to detail and a team player. • Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately • Organizing stock and maintaining inventory • Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment • Check, verify incoming and outgoing shipments • Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks • Wrap orders before loading on trucks • Keep warehouse clean and organized daily • Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures • Abide by and adhere to all company health & safety policies, regulations and quality standards Requirements • Proven experience as order picker or other warehouse position • Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment • Able to read and write in English • Ability to lift or move heavy products. Good physical strength and stamina • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
