Let's get professional: join us to have your headshot taken by Kaylah Wicks, plus some speed networking to buff your professional skills! Happy National Career Development Month! Do you see other people with professional LinkedIn profile pictures and want your own but haven't had the chance? Did you have headshots done years ago and are looking for a refresh? Do you just want a nice photo of yourself? Here's your chance! Join your YPWA friends for a Headshot Happy Hour where board member Kaylah Wicks will capture our beauty forever by taking professional head shots for us. Headshots are key for making a good first impression, standing out from the crowd, and being memorable. This is the perfect chance to have yours done! We will also be doing some "speed networking" where we chat about hobbies, places in the area we love, etc. No need to stress or prepare, we'll just have some questions available to get to know each other better (similar to the BINGO game from the kick-off!). Light refreshments will be provided. This event is free for members. For non-members, we are offering a free registration with a no-questions-asked "donate what you can" at the door. Suggested donation is $5-10. Donations will go directly towards the venue fee. Members, reminder that your membership enables us to offer incredible events like this to community members who may not have the means to access such resources. We truly appreciate that we are able to do that! The event is from 2-4pm but members are welcome to join in when they can and we'll get you in the queue for headshots. Please note we will be complying with Worcester's mask mandate, so masks are required for this indoor event, regardless of vaccination status. You can remove your mask when you are having your photo taken.
