Join BikeArlington and Rad Power Bikes for a free event to learn about and test ride e-bikes!
E-bikes are changing the world. With the extra boost from pedal assistance or a throttle (or both), more people can enjoy the freedom and joy of riding a bike, more of the time. Whether you’re a parent looking for a sustainable, easy way to do school drop-off, a commuter looking to sweat less, or someone who just wants an extra boost, an e-bike might be for you.
Join BikeArlington and Rad Power Bikes for a free event to learn about and test ride e-bikes! We will meet at Quincy Parking Deck and hear from employees and owners of Rad Power e-bikes before going for a ride around Arlington to test out the e-bikes on trails, streets, and hills.
Rad will have 10 e-bikes available to take on the ride and slots are first come, first served. If you already have an e-bike, join us on the ride to share your experience as an e-bike owner.
Riders should be comfortable balancing and riding on a bike. The ride will be at a relaxed pace as new riders adjust to the e-bike experience. Helmets are required on Rad & BikeArlington rides; if you do not have one please indicate that when registering and we will lend you one.
BikeArlington is a program of Arlington County Commuter Services, within the Department of Environmental Services. BikeArlington is an effort to build on an existing partnership between Arlington citizens, businesses, and County staff to encourage more people to bike more often.
