Description

In this class we will be sewing standard size dinner napkins! We will be learning how to make mitered corners. Come sew with Kim at the shop! In this class we will be learning how to sew dinner napkins using the mitered corner method. This skill will last you a lifetime, and with it you can make napkins for all seasons and in all sizes! We will be making standard size dinner napkins (20") with a 1/4" hem. You are welcome to make smaller napkins if you prefer. Checkout the other Table Setting Decor sewing classes I have listed! Table Runner, Placemats, and this one, dinner napkins. By taking all 3 classes, you can create an entire coordinating table setting in time for the holidays! Because table setting decor is such a personal choice, you have 2 options for this class. 1. You can choose to use the fabric I will provide for your napkins. I will supply the fabric shown in the photos here, a holiday red dots, a rustic cabin / deer / buffalo plaid print, or a red, green, and cream snowflake print. I will provide enough fabric for each person to make 4 napkins. This fabric is 100% cotton and has been pre-washed and dried. 2. You can bring your own fabric! If you are bringing your own fabric, keep in mind a nice coordinating print if you will also be taking the other 2 table setting classes. You will need 1.5 yards of 45" wide fabric. Please be sure your fabric is 100% cotton, or a cotton/linen blend. PRE-WASH, DRY, and PRESS before class! If bringing 100% linen, just pre-wash, AIR DRY, and PRESS. (If you do not pre-wash and dry your fabric, your finished product will shrink after your first washing. Boo)! SKILL LEVEL: Beginners/Intermediate. (you must have previous sewing knowledge, and be able to navigate and use your sewing machine without much help) ***If bringing your own machine please be SURE it is working before class! This is an INDOOR class. Face masks are mandatory. I agree to terms in waiver - By purchasing ticket, you are agreeing to terms in waiver. Please contact us if you would still like to sign up for this class, but have issue with any part of waiver.
