A 2-Day Hands-On Professional Video Production Experience Do you dream of launching a career in film, television, or web video production? Are you looking to master the process of professional video production using high quality industry-standard tools? Join us for this 2-day hands-on video production experience hosted by your local television station and community media center: Midpen Media's Studio Production Basics. Together, we'll practice Producing, Directing, Camera Operation, Light Design, Live Graphics, Sound Operation, and Production Planning in Midpen Media’s professional video production studio. Over the course of this weekend experience, you'll get to call the shots as the producer, director, technical crew, and/or talent to create a show of your own design. Design a set, write a script, interview a guest, play some music--in this workshop, you'll have the creative freedom to make YOUR vision a reality, and the skills to make it look amazing! After completing this Studio Production workshop, new producers will have the practical experience to confidently move forward with their own studio projects, and all graduates of the training are eligible to volunteer as crew members on future Midpen Media productions. This class features 4 hours of instruction and 4 hours of hands-on television production practice under the guidance of local professional studio operators. This workshop takes place over the course of two days.
