Join us for our Dialogue Matters Book Club
On Monday, October 25th, we are starting our monthly Dialogue Matters Book club meetings to increase our knowledge and understanding of challenging issues and center our minds to increase our compassion, humanity, and fellowship.
We will read " The Boy, the mole, the fox, and the horse" by Charlie Mackesy. This short graphic novel of images with the conversation over the landscape is one of the latest best-selling books that offer inspiration and hope in uncertain times.
For the sake of dialog and understanding, we may choose books genres to read from the topics related to interfaith, faith-inspired, social justice, history, a biography of important peacemakers, and contemporary issues. We will choose the following books to read at the meeting to read individually and discuss and share our reflections.
We meet last Monday of each month between 6:00 pm—8:00 pm. We'll have the first meeting in person at the Dialogue Institute Dallas.
Rev. Debra Loudin-McCann and Ornela Kocyigit from the Dialogue Institute will be the moderator for the club and lead the discussions during the club meetings.
