The Irvine Police Department's Threat Management Unit is excited to reconnect with members of the IPD Interfaith Security Partnership at our upcoming in-person event. On Tuesday, November 9, 2021, from 11:00am - 1:00pm, Mariners Church will graciously open their doors to allow us an opportunity to reconnect and learn from one another. Message from IPD's newly appointed Police Chief, Michael Kent Learning Points from the First Baptist Church shooting in Sutherland Springs, TX .Open Discussion/Q&AWe hope you and members of your security team join us for this important gathering. This meeting is open to, and designed to provide training to, anyone who is a member of the security team for a House of Worship here in Irvine.
While Mariners Church will not require masks on their campus, we encourage guests to follow the state and local guidance, which includes masks for unvaccinated individuals.
Mariners Church has offered to provide a pre-packaged lunch during this event. We will send out information about food options approximately 1 week before the meeting. You are also welcome to bring your own lunch to this meeting.
