Roundtable discussion with past & present iJay Practicum members - learn how the Practicum contributed to the professional careers of alumni Next Friday, October 29th, we will be hosting the 10th Semiannual iJay Student Leadership Summit at 8:25 in Harper (classroom TBD), during which we will have a roundtable discussion with past and present iJay Practicum members. Our goal is for the current members to get feedback from the past members, learn from their experiences and share the current projects we are working on with the Creighton community. In addition, this is a great opportunity for those who would like to join the iJay Practicum or anyone interested in the work we do. Oftentimes we get mistaken for being employees of the iJay store when in actuality this two semester, two credit course provides an exclusive opportunity for students to get hands-on experience running a retail business. Participants take roles that align with their coursework and career aspirations, contributing to the program while also collecting valuable experience for the future. Not only will the Leadership Summit showcase the present happenings, spectators will also come to know how the iJay Practicum contributed to the professional careers of the program’s alumni.
