Description

Monthly the topics change yet the underlying theme remains constant, "Think, Rethink, Out-Think, and Think Again" (i.e., use metacognition). Thank you for planning to be with us . . . Wednesday 20 October 2021 | On-Campus from 5:00ꟷ8:30 P.M. | Not Streaming Free | Refreshments and No-Selling Networking | Program from 6:00 ꟷ 7:30 P.M. Marking Four Years Since Enclave Building Dedication and Ribbon-Cutting Event "Getting the Gear for Public Safety" Entrepreneurial Thinking in Public Safety Isn’t Limited to Entrepreneurs The gear of public safety attracts interest in minds of all ages. Eyes and ears pay close attention when emergency vehicles ꟷ loaded with gear ꟷ race to serve. Ideas for gear and services emerge through the entrepreneurial thinking of public safety professionals who aren’t entrepreneurs. From before Enclave opened its doors, Elk Grove Fire Chief Mikel invites and encourages all public safety pros and the public to identify needs and think of ideas for better or new gear and services. Since 2017, Elk Grove Vilage, IL Fire Chief Richard J. Mikel is a member of the Founding Faculty for Enclave Academy at Enclave Learning & Earning Center. He is a frequent and valued voice among the Enclave Community's subject-matter-expert thought leaders. Fire Chief Mikel's exceptonal depth, bredth, and height of understanding of the current and optimal relationships between and among leaders of businesses, nonprofit organizations, municipalities, public safety resources, and other types of enterprises add greater value to his ever-increasing command of the latest and greatest innovations in the big wide world of fire prevention, fire detection, firefighting, and fire inspections. This high-calue and high-impact series of materclases in ventire-critical metacognitoon are free, thanks to the generosity of the Elk Grove Village Business Leaders Forum, an outreach initiative of Beyond-Business-Friendly Elk Grove Village, IL, the largest )and perhaps the freindliest) business park in the Uinited States.
