From before Enclave opened its doors, Elk Grove Fire Chief Mikel invites and encourages all public safety pros and the public to identify needs and think of ideas for better or new gear and services. Since 2017, Elk Grove Vilage, IL Fire Chief Richard J. Mikel is a member of the Founding Faculty for Enclave Academy at Enclave Learning & Earning Center. He is a frequent and valued voice among the Enclave Community's subject-matter-expert thought leaders.
