SDSU CBB Program information session for 2021 applicants and open house for alumni and others interested in learning about the program. Come to this information session & open house to learn more information about the CBB program and how you can apply for the 2022-24 learning community. Attend this information session and open house either in-person or virtually via Zoom. Please select the appropriate ticket, so that we can send you the meeting location or zoom link. Meet faculty, alumni and current studentsLearn about CBB’s multicultural partners-in-learning counselor preparation model that uses democratic decision-making to share power between faculty and students.Discuss admissions criteriaQ&A SessionFor over 48 years, the CBB Program has prepared unlicensed counselors to work with individuals and communities. In Fall 2014, the one-year CBB Program became a two-year program that will prepare students to become Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC). The two-year block program meets all of the requirements for the 60-unit MASTERS OF SCIENCE IN COUNSELING with a concentration in Multicultural Community Counseling-LPCC and fulfills the California Board of Behavioral Sciences’ requirements for Professional Clinical Counselor Licensure. Important Admissions Dates: • Dec 15, 2021: CBB Program and CSU Apply applications due • Jan 12, 2022: Submission of all materials due • Saturday, February 26 or March 5, 2022: Interviews (hold the dates).
