Join Knoxville's data science professionals for a discussion on strategies to build and manage a healthy and dynamic data science team. This roundtable event is an opportunity to make new connections with peers at other Knoxville companies and discuss strategies for creating collaborative, productive, and healthy teams. In order to promote lively conversation and idea sharing, this will be an in-person event for data scientists and technology leaders. We'll be gathering in Avertium's meeting space with appetizers and drinks provided. Discussion will be facilitated to explore challenges and solutions for hiring and building high-performing data science teams at all levels of organizational maturity. PANELISTS Discussion Leader: Lindsey Clark, Director of Data Science at Healthcare Bluebook Charles Chin, Manager Data Scientist at KPMG Zane Troyer, Principal Data Scientist at Optum Whether you're considering a data science hire or you already have a data science team, this roundtable discussion will be a valuable opportunity to share stories, tips and tricks, and advice on how to bring more complex analytics into your company, how to strategically plan and set expectations, and how to successfully hire data science professionals. This is a free event, but advance RSVP is required. If you invite a colleague to come with you, please have them register as well so that we have enough food & drinks for everyone to enjoy. Masks are not required, but we encourage attendees to follow social distancing and mask wearing according to their vaccination status and personal comfort level. The meeting space is a large, open area with plenty of room to move around.
