Gathering of societies and like minded people uniting and speaking out on the issues of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Children.
This three days gathering will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions on MMIW and end with a water walk to honor World Water Day. We will be remembering through prayer seven MMIW victims and their families. Societies from across the country will share the work they are doing in their communities; how they work with the victims families, building partnership in communities and working with youth on this epidemic. Self defense/awareness demonstrations will be shared.
