ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

It is the job you have now, and the lives of animals are in your hands. Maintaining the health and safety of the animals and staff at THPR 24/7, 365 days a year is the top priority.
Reports directly to the Lead Resort Host on shift
Responsible for the care and cleanliness of the boarding facility and ensuring that it is at the highest standard for presentation to our customers and safety of their pets. Tasks include:
Turnover and sanitization of boarding facilities and equipment including daily removal of animal waste and trash from facilities
Laundering of bedding and towels for both owners and THPR
Basic grounds maintenance (weeding and filling holes)
Communications
Thinking proactively toward the betterment of oneself in the workplace as well as the THPR family and business
Communicating concerns or suggested updates with Lead Resort Hosts
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
This position will have minimal direct interaction with pets, so no animal experience is necessary. Able to lift 50lbs, strong organizational and task prioritization skills. Able to use various cleaning and landscaping equipment. General understanding of sanitization procedures preferred, but not required. Self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Shifts are from 8:00am-12:00pm
Position will be hourly and requires an availability of a minimum of 12 hours per week. Requires availability during weekends and holidays due to increased reservations.
This position requires employees to keep a resort-like appearance that is clean, professional, and within the uniform policies of the Resort.
This is an entry level position and would be a great first job. No previous work experience required. Must be at least 16 years of age.
