Join AADM for the fifth of an 8-Week long series of classes called “Teach the Truth Thursdays” or T3. These lessons are about seeing, recognizing and understanding how racial inequality has been created, how it’s continuously reproduced in American society, and how we can overcome it. Come in person at 5pm OR join us virtually at 5:30pm! See below for the registration details. The fifth class, "Athens Youth Panel", will be taught by Dr. Tianna Dowie-Chin, an Associate Professor at UGA with areas of study in Critical Race Theory, Social Studies Education and Black Feminist Thought.
