The purpose of this banquet is to raise funds to support college bound African American male high school seniors The purpose of this banquet is to raise funds to support college bound African American male high school seniors and recognize African American men in the Memphis community who exhibit a sense of Brotherhood for all mankind, have respect for Scholarship, and are involved in Community Service. Hobson-Goodlow honors African American men who excel in the areas of: Arts, Business, Corporate, Community Service, Education, and Religion and have made an impact in the Memphis community through their service and work endeavors. Hobson-Goodlow and the Fraternity have honored more than 100 African American males within the local community in the past 26 years and have donated over $120,000 toward the education of young men.
