College Board recognizes different levels of achievement based on a student's performance on these exams. Some students earned more than one Scholar designation for their achievements.
One hundred twenty-seven students were recognized as AP Scholars, receiving scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams. Forty-six students were named AP Scholars with Honor, earning an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. Eighty-three students were named AP Scholars with Distinction. To earn this award, a student must receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
In addition, 15 Levittown students earned their AP Seminar and Research Certificate and 20 students received their AP Capstone Diploma. The AP Seminar and Research Certificate is granted to those who earn scores of 3 or higher in AP Seminar and AP Research but not on four additional AP Exams. The AP Capstone Diploma is given to those students who earn scores of 3 or higher in AP Seminar and AP Research and on four additional AP Exams of their choosing.
The district congratulates all the AP Scholars on their achievement.
