WEST HAVEN, CT — Two people are dead after a murder-suicide Wednesday morning in West Haven, according to multiple reports. Police responded to a home on Gilbert Street around 5 a.m. on the report of loud screams coming from the home, according to NBC Connecticut. NBC Connecticut reports officers found a man and a woman dead of apparent stab wounds inside the home. Police said an investigation found that Juan Angel Rivera, 47, had killed the 41-year-old woman and then died by suicide, according to the New Haven Register. The two had recently ended a long relationship, the Register reported.
