STRATFORD, CT — The Blue Sky Diner in Stratford has reopened after temporarily closing due to recent COVID-19 cases and exposure among staff.
The owners previously announced the diner was closing "out of an abundance of caution" to disinfect the building and quarantine employees.
The restaurant, located at 273 Ferry Boulevard, reopened on Oct. 16 with modified business hours until further notice, according to Sissy Kouvatas, whose family owns the diner.
"We undertook appropriate measures to test all our employees, and professionally disinfected the building using the services of EnviroPRO for the time being," Kouvatas said.
The diner's daily business hours will be from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
