2021 Induction Ceremony of the Florida Women's Hall of Fame
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis selected Virginia M. Hernandez Covington of Tampa, Barbara B. Nicklaus of North Palm Beach, and the Honorable Beverly White Yeager of Palm Beach for induction to the 2021 Florida Women’s Hall of Fame. Each year, the Governor selects three nominees from a group of ten nominees selected by the Florida Commission on the Status of Women. They were considered for their work to make significant improvements in life for women and all citizens of Florida.
2021 marks the 39th Anniversary of the Florida Women’s Hall of Fame. It will be an event worthy of the extraordinary women it honors and will take place on November 18, 2021, at 5:00 PM at the Florida Supreme Court. The event will be available via live-stream on YouTube.
The Florida Women's Hall of Fame event presents an opportunity to recognize the many ways that women’s history has become woven into the fabric of our state and national story in a more meaningful way.
The event is free, but registration is required. Join us in celebrating the lives and works of these three trailblazers.
