Hello! I have been a portrait and wildlife photographer since 2010. I recently bought my little man his own little digital camera after he had expressed he wants to do photography, and he loves it! I really enjoyed seeing his excitement every time he saw the photos that he took. This made me realize I'd love to start teaching other children photography as well! It would be so rewarding to see kids light up from seeing their own photography work of art. With that said, I am ready to start this new journey so I hope you'll choose to give me this opportunity to teach your child and help him or her discover their talent through a lens. Each child will spend 1 hour a week for a total of 12 weeks learning about photography. If the weather chooses to not cooperate that day, we will reschedule IF you prefer to. The total cost for a 12 week course is $300 which I will ask that it be paid up front via PayPal OR I can accept payments by Venmo as well, and proof of payment will be sent to you via email. If something comes up and your child cannot finish the course, you will be refunded within 10 days. If you have questions regarding payments, please feel free to ask! We will certainly take precautions to protect your child and myself from the spread of Covid by wearing our masks regardless being outside. If you have concerns and/or questions regarding this, please don't hesitate to ask! Preferably your child will have a personal camera to learn from. It doesn't have to be a certain brand or same as mine. Whatever you feel is best for your child. If your child doesn't have a camera and will need to learn from mine, that is okay, however, your child having a camera will allow him or her to be independent with a camera and that will help your child to become comfortable with doing photography. To avoid any distractions, I prefer parents to not attend each session, but, I will NOT tell you, you can't. Lessons will only be held in my neighborhood so parents are welcome to hang out in their car where they will see their child working with me at all times. I really want all parents to be comfortable with their child's learning experience while in my care, so please know you are welcome to be up front and honestly speak any concerns you may have. At the end of the 12 week course, you will get 8x10 framed prints of your child's best shots! I will have prints ready to give to you personally OR I will mail them to you, whatever you prefer!
