We are looking for a part-time dependable Handyman that can complete various remodeling and maintenance tasks on our rental properties. Remodeling job duties include painting, hanging drywall, and installing floors and windows. Your maintenance responsibilities involve solving basic electrical and plumbing issues, as well as ensuring interior and exterior structural components are safe and in good condition, such as siding and sidewalks. You must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, and you should be proficient with hand and power tools. Please note compensation is based on experience. Duties and Responsibilities • Update drywall and paint as needed • Help with tile or flooring installation • Assist with trim carpentry or exterior siding • Perform basic electrical and plumbing maintenance • Must be able to multitask Requirements and Qualifications • High school diploma or GED certificate preferred • Able to lift at least 50 lbs. • Familiarity with basic hand and power tools • Reliable transportation • Flexible schedule • Mechanical aptitude We are a 100-year old family rental business, that is proud to serve the Talladega community.
