Description

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The annual PumpkinFest of Doylestown will be held on Saturday, Oct. 23 at the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works Museum of Bucks County. Featuring local artists and pumpkin carvers, participants will be carving large pumpkins into glowing masterpieces and putting them on display for all to see. The event will be the 29th annual PumpkinFest that the organizer, the CB Cares Educational Foundation, has held in Doylestown. CB Cares works on improving the quality of education for students and parents in the Central Bucks School District. Proceeds from the event will be used for this initiative, along with other efforts to keep children in the school district safe. "CB Cares Educational Foundation prides itself on being a developmental compass for our students, families, and the community," the foundation wrote on its website. Kimberly Cambra, Executive Director of CB Cares, said that the event is organized by one person from the organization and "does every detail to ensure this tradition" goes on in the Doylestown area. The event will begin at 4 p.m. The event will feature food trucks, games, and live music from the Doylestown School of Rock. For more information, visit the organizer's Facebook page and website. Come and enjoy the festivities and pumpkin art at this longtime Doylestown tradition.
