YMCA of Bucks County is currently hiring a Lead Teacher for our Toddler classroom at the New Britain location. Our passionate lead teachers develop the imaginations and creativity of the youth in their classrooms. Come join us! Qualifications: At least 21 years oldHigh School Diploma Required (CDA or some college education preferred)At least 2 years of experience working with children (coaching, babysitting, paid work, volunteering, etc.)Comfortable with the one-year-old age groupAbility to perform First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training will be provided) Essential Functions: Implement the curriculum within established guidelines. Design and accomplish daily classroom activities to facilitate active learning. Guide the assistant teacher (if applicable) and communicate needs and suggestions with other staff and the director.Communicate to parents and colleagues effectively Days/Hours Needed: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am-3:30 pm, 30 hours per week (year-round) Pay Rate: $13.50-$16.00/hour with proper certifications and experience *A Free individual YMCA membership is included with employment* If interested, please send a completed application or resume to [email protected].
