I am looking for a fellow guitar player/ backup vocals who would have interest in learning alot of Tom Pettys catalog. Tom in my opinion was one of the greatest songwriters of our time. I myself have been playing Toms songs since I was 13 years old. I am now 56 and have a passion for his music especially his deeper cuts like Crawling Back to You, Damaged By Love, Wildflowers, and the list could go on forever. Years ago I had a Tom Petty Tribute Band and used to play out and now being older would love to explore the acoustic side of Toms music. But I only play guitar and sing his lead vocals. Im looking for a seasoned player who can accent my player and possibly back me up vocally. If it something that sounds real good we could try a couple a local bars in the area and make a few bucks....Im not doing it for the money but more for the fun of the music.
