LAKEWOOD, OH — A 45-year-old Lakewood man has been accused of trying to kidnap a child in Madison Park on Wednesday. Jeremy McCusker faces a charge of kidnapping, a first-degree felony. McCusker remains held in Lakewood Jail on a $250,000 bond. His first court appearance wasn't immediately scheduled. Around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, McCusker was in Madison Park when he picked up a child and tried to run, police said. Parents and other adults in the park intervened, restraining McCusker and freeing the child, police said. Live in Lakewood?
