Thorntons Now Open In Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Thorntons, a gas station and convenience store retailer, has opened its newest store in Bolingbrook, the business said in a release. The store opened Oct. 15 at 1025 S. Weber Road. According to the business, the company now operates a total of 84 stores in Illinois, including 64 in Chicagoland. The new store offers a self-checkout, LED lighting, freshly made burritos and sandwiches, and beverages like coffee and fountain drinks, the business said. The fueling center also has a rear diesel island, with limited overnight truck parking, according to a release. To celebrate its opening, the company said it gave the first 100 guests a free coloring book with coupons. The company also donated $2,500 to the Northern Illinois Food Bank in honor of the opening.
