Here are the top stories today in Savannah: The Savannah Police Department made a quick arrest after Wednesday's fatal shooting in Forsyth Park. Desmond Warren, 33, was discovered near the basketball courts with life-threatening gunshot wounds and died from his injuries at Memorial Medical Center. Lebert Harrison, 22, was arrested for shooting Warren and is now being held at Chatham County Detention Center on a murder charge. (Press Release Desk)A Savannah family says their teenage daughter, who suffers from chronic asthma, received the wrong COVID-19 vaccine at J.C. Lewis Primary Care Center last month. Omarell Smalls, 16, was told she would be receiving the Pfizer vaccine, which is the only one currently approved for individuals under 18. However, facility staff called Smalls' mother two days later to say they had inadvertently given the teen the Moderna vaccine, and she has been suffering from side effects ever since. Keyerra Smalls wants an apology and "would like J.C. Lewis to reach out ... to check on how her daughter is doing." (WTOC) The Olde Pink House restaurant in Savannah claimed the top spot on Yelp's list of the 25 most haunted spots in the U.S. Another Savannah establishment, The Marshall House, also made the list at No. 11. (WJBF-TV) According to recent data from the Georgia Department of Education, the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) holds a 90-plus percent graduation rate, higher than the state average of 83.7 percent.
